Meet Russell
I’m a mobility specialist and yoga teacher based in Marlow, Cookham and Maidenhead, helping people move better, feel calmer and build a stronger connection to their bodies.
Im Certified Mobility Specialist with Functional Range Conditioning, which is focused on joint strength, mobility and control. The aim is to build strength through the joints and improve how the body moves in a way that lasts.
My approach is simple. Build strength, move well, and give the body the time and space it needs to adapt.
I also offer small group yoga classes, my path into yoga started through injury. Dealing with sciatica led me to a more consistent and considered practice, and over time I saw how much the body can change with the right approach.
I teach Iyengar yoga in its traditional form, focusing on alignment, precision and awareness. I trained under senior teachers Uday Bhosale and Sheila Haswell, qualifying in 2019 after a two-year teacher training with over 150 hours of study in anatomy, asana and pranayama.
